Yes, very nice place with fish
The menu is varied and the food and service are wonderful. If you go try one of their sides Butternut squash it is wonderful. Loved the seafood
I don't work there but I'm sure they accept reservations. It's a popular place in an excellent location. Good luck!
Yes
Yes, the main dining room was open.
I have a old photo that my farther took back in the 1960
Nice view. Inside and outside seating. Friendly staff, good service and great food!
Loved the atmosphere. Great place to take the family (dining room) or relax for some football (bar). Staff were friendly and knew the menu like the back of their hands. Food was quick and fresh. Great drink selection. Bartender took great care of me as I watched the Pats beat theJets! Can't get more New England than that...
I love Steamers and Scallops and this place did not disappoint. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our meals. The freshness, the taste, the quantity and all reasonably priced. I'm drooling just thinking about it and will definitely be back when we visit the area again next year. Pics show the steamers still in the net and the buttery crumbs baked on the scallops. YUM!!!
Very fresh ingredients, but the dishes are middling. Shrimp scampi had little to no flavour. It was shrimp scampi, not good shrimp scampi nor bad.Lobster roll was good, serves cold here, but tastes good. Fries we plain and had no flavour as well, and ditto on the fish and chips
We ate here for lunch upon arrival in Rockport. It was sooo delicious, portion sizes were large, window views are beautiful, and the staff was so great that we ate there again for dinner before catching the commuter train back to Boston. After sightseeing we were cutting it close to catch the train back if we had dinner, but the staff was so awesome and let us know what took the longest to prepare so we could stay away from those choices, also they brought our check with the meal and quickly brought us boxes after we were stuffed. If I could give this establishment 10 stars, I most certainly would!
Pretty Sea side view and good food, nice atmosphere
Such a great surprise. We were simply doing a quick stop for the first time in Rockport and were looking for some seafood. Roy Moore’s was highly ranked and we were not disappointed! First, the fried scallops were simply amazing. If you look in the pictures I posted, the breading was very thin, and the scallops incredibly fresh! The Lobster rolls were nothing less than awesome!! They serve it to you with only lobster meat and a side of home-made sauce that you use as needed. Loved it!! The clam chowder was very good too, and the Haddock chowder was a good surprised. Not salty at all which was great (I like when restaurant take in considering that we can easily add salt as required...but never remove it)The only downside has been the Lobster Mac & Cheese, which was good but heavy on the salt... well Cheese is salty, but that was a bit much. Overall a great experience, good service. Would go back again!
Everything on the seafood menu was delicious. Best haddock. So flaky and tender. Maddy was so friendly and informative.
Nothing fancy, but good seafood, bar. Great waitress. Window table with nice bay view. Fried haddock, steamers, shrimp cocktail, lobster, fries all well executed.
You're in the northeast, you've got to have lobster, right? This was a casual little eatery with some great food. The service was pretty slow and inattentive when we visited, though.
Outdoor dining by the water. Excellent service and staff. Fried clams cooked perfectly.
We've been many times to Rockport and enjoy RM Fish Shack. This lunch was quiet as we came off season and what a treat! Piping hot fried clams with crispy fries and a piled high with lobster meat salad. All while sitting in a giant picture window overlooking the water and the coast of Rockport. Charming! Same owner and the fish monger for Roy Moore's Lobster Company down the street which is more eating in the rough outside in the back at picnic tables. Both fabulous!
Unbelievably fresh sea food served in delicious, innovative ways
This place was nice... I did enjoy the view and atmosphere of the restaurant.. I would of given 4 stars for food how ever our waitress was wonderful and sweet.. she truly had customer service down with a pat..making us feel welcome and relaxed.. I definitely will be back
THE BEST 'SHRIMP SCAMPI' EVER TRIED IN MY LIFE!! I also had the lobster and it was fabulous. The corn coming on the side tastes good as well. I will visit there again.
We were promptly seated as we approached the host stand. Weren't able to have the coveted waterfront window seat but were not disappointed with our table. The server approached the table promptly with a polite demeanor. We were hungry and with a small menu didn't leave us occupied with an overabundance of choices. The food came at without too much delay and was phenomenal. Everything was satisfactory
It's an overall win when the drinks and food are equally as good! I came here for a Bloody Mary and was in luck because it was delicious with the shrimp on the rim. I also had a White Peach Sangria that was refreshing. We ended up having the Crab Cakes and the Coconut Shrimp which were my favorite! Charlie took care of us. She was very friendly and helpful with providing suggestions that made our experience overall, a great one. We will defintely be back the next time we're in town.
We found heaven in a lobstah roll! So delicious... Fresh lobster piled high on a crispy, buttery roll in classic New England style.
Food was good and the service was exceptional. The reason for the average rating was due to a foreign paperlike thing found in the New England clam chowder. I would revisit again in the future and try it again.
This is the best restaurant. The atmosphere is comfortable with a lovely view of the harbor. We started with a cup of delicious clam chowder and had a great lobster roll dinner. The lobster was out of the water fresh! Our waitress was so nice and gave us great service. One of our favorite spots year round.
The food is delicious, and the service is stellar. I had the Lazy Lobster Casserole, and my spouse had a whole lobster. We shared some excellent clam chowder. So good! It's located on a charming street in Rockport. Well worth the visit.
Macaroni and Cheese with lobster or fish tacos. So much to choose from always fabulous.
Great food, excellent service, proper social distancing.
Great atmosphere, great service! So why just 2 stars ?The back section, with a wonderful view on the beach was closed, and everyone was seated in the front of the restaurant and bar area, which was quite dark... Strange to miss out on a very sunny day !The food overall was good (garden salad, lobster roll and fried calamari). However, the crab cakes were inedible... They tasted like rotten vegetables and flower... We couldn't eat more than a bite...
The lobster is so luscious. And the service is also nice and professional.
Food was below acceptable.
Stopped in Rockport shortly after landing in Boston for a week in New England. Glad we did. Shop keepers were friendly. This seafood restaurant was highly recommended by the locals. We were not disappointed. Seated quickly for lunch at a prime window seat with view of the harbor. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Lobster prices were reasonable. Crab cakes were amazing.
Great food, friendly staff....tables 6 feet apart Outdoor tables as well.
Great eats, reasonable prices, good view if you get a window seat. NeR the shops and downtown, went twice. Very happy with the overall experience.
The place was very good, we were visiting for a trip and saw its reviews and food. The view is also very pleasing. The employees are very nice. Go visit this restaurant!
